A few years ago, a Russian artist named Ilya Grinberg created a map of Antarctica called the Piri Reis that shows the locations of the countries on the continent. The map was based on the original map of Antarctica by Giovanni Battista Pirani, which is shown here. Pirani created the map in 1859 and it is a work of art in its own right. It is an excellent map of Antarctica that has been lost for centuries.
