My name is Mabel Magpie and I’m an avid DIYer. I love to work on DIY projects all the time and I’ve been doing it for a long time. I started my blog because I’ve always been interested in creating things from scratch. I love to make things and play with color, texture, and design.
Theres a term for that, the “creativity” gene, and that is something that most of us are born with. I know I did. I mean, I was born into a creative family. I remember as a little girl, I would sit in my crib after bath time and play with my wooden blocks and colored pencils, and I would create a new piece of art every day.
Like many bloggers out there, I have friends who are more than happy to let you know about things that interest them. In fact, the internet is full of these people. These are simply the folks who use the internet to share their own interests with their friends, and I have the privilege of meeting a lot of them in person.
The people who share their interests are called “mrs magpie” because their interests are so diverse that they go beyond just their immediate surroundings. If you have a passion for art or photography or you like to travel or you like to learn about music, you are a mrs magpie. Because of this, I know what I like.
In a world that’s all about sharing, mrs magpie are the ones who really have it all figured out. That’s because they are very social and they take the time to get to know their friends very well. This is what makes blogging and social media so important. It is the way that we get to know one another, it is the way that we get to know the world, and it is the way that we get to be that much more ourselves.
So that was my list of things I don’t want in my new home. I’m really glad I didn’t include this one.
I know I’m a bit late, and I apologize for that, but I just wanted to give you all a bit of something and say “there goes someone with a bit of a list”.
I think that getting to know friends at least once before moving in is important. It gives you a chance to make friends that you won’t have the chance to meet in person, and it gives you the chance to get to know your new surroundings in a way that you wouldn’t have the chance to do so before you moved in.
To make things even more interesting, the list includes some friends that we really like on here and I will tell you why.
We liked all of the new people on the list. They’re all really nice people, and we’d love to hang out with them. We’re going to be friends with them, so that’s great. The list also includes people who we already know, and it’s great to see them again. Most of them are still a part of our lives, and we’ll continue to have our own lives, so that’s also good.
