I actually wanted to take this as a positive thing. I really do believe that in life, we are all self-aware and that the more we understand ourselves, the more we can become self-aware. I think that is something that all of our lives at one time or another have taught us.
I’ve always loved the quote from the movie, “You can fool all the people Some of you can fool even your parents.” That’s a great message to keep in mind if you are trying to build a strong foundation for your self-awareness.
It’s great to be able to see a little bit of yourself in others, but it’s not as wonderful to see it as we may have wanted to. As I say, we are all capable of fooling ourselves. There is nothing wrong with that.
