So in this scene we’re being asked to do some pushups. But we don’t have to think about them. That’s all we have to do. We just make them. If we don’t think about them, we’re gonna have to do them.
I think that most of us are in pretty good shape when it comes to exercise. But when we do something like get up from our computers, put on our bathing suits, and go to the beach, are we really going to do all those push-ups? I don’t think so. They don’t even come close to being as fun as we think they are.
The problem is that we don’t seem to know what to think about pushups. There are countless studies out there and even many great books about them all. It seems like the only thing that we have to be is push-y and do push-ups.
