This is no longer a cool birthday photo. It was taken in the autumn during the winter when the sun was out, and I love it. It’s so nice. The color of the days and the season is so vibrant, so fun, and so interesting.

As it turns out, this is a selfie taken the day I got the train to Kolkata. The sun was out and the train was crowded, so I had to take a self-portrait as I walked along the platform. I had the hardest time getting the background right, so I had to make this one super awkward.

A few months ago, when I was looking for a new job, I went to an internship at a friend’s company. The company had two buildings, one for the offices and one for the labs, and the managers were always there when I came to work. I was always made to sit in the lab because I was the only person in the office there. I got to the office and saw that it was on the same floor as my friend’s business.
There were two rooms in the building, one for the scientists and one for the managers, and I always sat in the room where the scientists worked. So I was always made to sit in the lab. A few weeks ago, I wanted to attend a party at the company where the scientists are, but I couldn’t get to the party room, because I had to sit in the lab to talk to the scientist who had let me in.
What a nice birthday present! Neha Kakkar is the name of one of the scientists in the lab. She’s a genius in her field. She’s the reason that I was able to get into the company.
Neha Kakkar is a computer scientist who’s been working with me at Arkane Studios since I started working there. She’s a very smart person and works hard. She is my mentor at the job I work at.
